Tuolumne Historical Railroad Banquet

Please join us for a SPECIAL BANQUET to celebrate Tuolumne Co. historical railroads, including:

• Buffet dinner including your choice of beef or chicken, sides, soft drinks, and dessert.
• After-dinner presentation by Scott McGhee, General Manager of the Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad. Scott will give us an in-depth look at the two former West Side Shays that the YMSPRR operates on a daily basis. He will include information on these locomotives’ history, characteristics, major rebuilds, and recent discoveries about their historical paint colors and lettering styles.
• Raffle of a “West Side Shay Lover’s Dream Excursion for 4” – see below.
• The Banquet is open to all, but tickets are limited to 68 people, and must be purchased in advance by April 10, 2024.
  Price per person: $60; THRA Members $50

Raffle: West Side Shay Lover’s Dream Excursion for Four

At the conclusion of the Banquet, we will draw the winning ticket for our raffle of a West Side Shay Lover’s Dream Excursion for Four. This prize, generously donated by Scott McGhee and the YMSPRR, consists of the following:

• A ride for 4 persons on the YMSPRR’s beautiful excursion ride, pulled by a West Side Shay.
• Two of the tickets are for CAB RIDES, and two are first class tickets to ride in the YMSPRR’s newly refurbished caboose, built from WSLCo camp dormitory car #11.
• A private guided tour of YMSPRR’s shop, which has several WSLCo artifacts on display.
• Raffle tickets are priced as follows: $10 each, 3 for $25, 7 for $50.
  Special price for advance purchase: 4 for $25.

Raffle tickets will be available on Saturday, April 20 at the West Side Reunion and at the Banquet.
